On May 26, 2012 Terra Pascarosa Duff and Katarina Bezakova tabled at the third annual Sustainable Seafood Festival http://www.virginiaseafood.org/festivals/hosted by the Virginia Aquarium in Virginia Beach, VA. This spring event highlighted the freshest of regionally-sourced, sustainable ingredients. This adults-only event appealed to foodies’ taste buds as well as all who enjoy sampling from dozens of Sensible Seafood restaurant partners. Local beer and wines were also featured.
As guests followed the food trail through the Aquarium’s Bay & Ocean Pavilion, they had the opportunity to visit exhibits and learn about regional efforts focused on restoration, sustainability, and environmental stewardship at educational booths.
