On February 23, 2016, Melinda Truslow and Terra Pascarosa joined Greenfire Productions in the screening of Ocean Frontiers II at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Ocean Frontiers II is a film about the draft Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Plan – being released for public review this spring – and how we can help sustain the ocean environment, marine livelihoods and coastal cultures in our increasingly busy Virginia waters. The screening was followed by a Q&A with a panel of local experts including Laura McKay with the DEQ, Joe Atangan with the U.S. Navy, owner of Pleasure House Oysters Captain Chris Ludford, Matt Gove with the Surfrider Foundation, and Gwen Lockhart from the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center as moderator. There was an incredible turnout accompanied by two media hits – WVEC News Interview and Ocean Frontiers II Documentary Screened at ODU. Another screening of Ocean Frontiers II was held at George Mason University on April 13, 2016.
