Clean air is essential for all living creatures—plants, animals, and people—to live healthy lives. Moms Clean Air Force co-founder and senior director, Dominique Browning, teamed up with author, President and CEO of Society for Science and the Public, Maya Ajmera, in writing the very first children’s book to teach youth about clean air. Every Breath We Take introduces children to the value of clean air, what air is, how it moves, how it feels, and how it supports life. Photographs of beautiful children around the world exploring air through touch, smell, sound, and sight underscore the importance of clean air to all life on earth. Several passionate members and friends hosted read-ins of Every Breath We Take, which includes but is not limited to: the Southeast CARE Coalition, Trinity Family Life Center, Be A Little Lotus Yoga, Brookfield Elementary, Bettie F. Williams Elementary School, Children’s Garden Preschool, Hilton Elementary School, Beth Emeth Early Childhood Center, MOMs Organic Market, and The Midlothian Junior Women’s Club. Thank you to those who devoted their time educating and entertaining children with beautiful stories about the importance of #CleanAir! If you are interested in hosting your own read-in, contact Terra Pascarosa at firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate. You can also purchase the book at Amazon where a portion of the proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to Moms Clean Air Force, a national movement of over a half million moms, dads, and grandparents who are protecting the right of every child to breathe clean air.
