Ben Duff is the Environmental Director for TerraScapes.  Ben Duff comes to Terra Scapes Environmental Consulting with a very diverse background.  Ben graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a Liberal Arts Degree, majoring in both History and German.  He spent his junior year as an International Student in Berlin, Germany, where he studied 19th and 20th Century European History at Humboldt University Berlin.  Upon completion of his degree, Ben entered the construction industry, designing and installing Interlocking Concrete Paver Systems.   He then became the Development Assistant for the Great Bridge Battlefield & Waterways History Foundation, where he administrated the daily operations of the preservation and education orientated non-profit organization in Chesapeake, VA.

As Terra Scape’s Environmental Director, Ben is responsible for the day to day management of Terra Scapes Environmental Department, organizing and implementing the different components of contracts and strategies for the company.  Specifically, he engages members of the community through educational programs as well as advocating for certain environmental legislation at the local, state, and federal levels of government.  Ben is a vigorous leader who continually builds strong coalitions that implement the various strategies and goals of the organization.

Born in Frankenmuth, Michigan, he now calls Virginia Beach, Virginia home. His love of the environment stems from his connection to both the Great Lakes and the Chesapeake Bay.  Ben is a beekeeper, recreational angler, and sports enthusiast.  Ben resides with his wife Terra Pascarosa Duff, where they incorporate the environmental causes they advocate for professionally into their day-to-day lives. They spend their free time with family, traveling and exploring as often as possible the wonderful world in which we all live.
