Back Bay Forum 2012
On Thursday, March 15, 2012 Katarina Bezakova tabled at the Back Bay Forum in Virginia Beach VA. Annually, the Back Bay Restoration Foundation presents a forum on relevant research and current information affecting the Back Bay watershed. The Forum was sponsored by the Virginia Coastal Zone Management Program, STIHL, and Farm Fresh. This was a unique opportunity to listen to expert presenters on topics that directly relate to the status of Back Bay and its watershed. Among the presenters were area National Wildlife Refuge managers, Federal, State and University biologists, City Officials, farmers, and other stakeholders of the watershed. The 2012 Forum presentations are available for download on the website of the Back Bay Restoration Foundation: http://www.bbrf.org/annualevents/backbayforum.html
The attendees had the opportunity to efficiently use the breaks between the presentations and visit the displays related to the wildlife and sport activities of the Back Bay Watershed. Some longline cards were signed. The Back Bay Restoration Foundation will be a great grasstop leader to support our FIRRA outreach.
